An IT Support Technician in the Tempe, AZ area is available through Adecco Engineering & Technology. You need to have a minimum of three years experience in a technical support role. Your primary responsibilities will be providing support to clients to resolve technical issues.
Technical Support Technician job responsibilities:
Provide phone support to clients to resolve technical issues
Manages & maintains CRM/ticketing system
Keeps client documentation up to date
Maintains an efficient and accurate computing environment and infrastructure solutions for all clients
Services clients' contracts as scheduled
Addresses issues with client accounts in a timely and professional manner
Interacts with clients and employees in a courteous, business-like manner
Facilitates the transfer of information between peers to create a team-oriented environment.
Participates in an on-call rotation every 8 to 12 weeks.
What kind of knowledge, skills and abilities are required?
Excellent oral and written communication skills
General knowledge of information technology industry - particularly Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft infrastructure management.
Experience with backup systems
Superior organizational skills and precise attention to detail
Professionalism and cooperation in dealing with other staff, partners, and clients
Ability to manage difficult or stressful work-related issues
Computing environment and infrastructure management experience
QUALIFICATIONS for the IT Support Tech
Requires physical agility and strength to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and extensive use of computer equipment
Hands-on experience with desktop support
Hands-on experience with basic server and email administration (Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Up)
Hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting consumer-grade firewalls
Exposure of cloud based services such as Office365, Box, Dropbox, Google Apps, etc...
High School Graduate or GED required, college degree preferred
Minimum three (3) years in a technology support role
Strong technical knowledge
Excellent customer service and communication skills
