Position Summary: As a Java Application Development Senior Advisor, will provide technical leadership and expertise for critical evolution of an advanced Benefit Automation Suite of state of the art technology tools. You will lead benefits builder projects for CVS Health and act as a development and design lead for the team regarding benefit plan builds.
You will review the design of the system and help to resolve what should be included in the next release cycle. You will partner with both the build and development teams and actively participate in code reviews.
Your deep understanding of PBM Benefit Plan Business and track record of innovation with the capability to overcome hurdles in a timely manner is essential for this highly visible position.
This position will be located in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Required Qualifications: 8+ years of IT experience including the following:
-7+ years knowledge and understanding of SDLC.
-5+ years working with Java.
-5+ years with PBM Claim Processing and Automation Systems.
-3+ years leading IT Applications Development and Requirements Capture.
-3+ years knowledge and understanding of MVP, Iterative Development, and Proof of Concept Fail Fast Software Development methodologies.
7+ years experience communicating complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, to audiences at
various levels of an organization.
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, as needed per business needs. Preferred Qualifications:-Experience with competitive application technologies and services in Benefits Automation area.
-Experience with Major Health Plan Automation Improvements where opportunity for streamlining work processes and
effectively supporting work efforts that span benefits and formulary areas.
-Strong familiarity and past involvement with PBM Industry Welcome Season challenges and opportunities.
-Proven leadership skills around estimating work and educating a technical team.
-Experience leading the design and development of a new automation application from scratch.
-Good track record delivering impactful automation applications not necessarily just healthcare.
-Angular, Informatica, or Oracle experience.
