What you’ll be doing...
As a member of Verizon Wireless’s Customer Care IT organization, you will be working on Verizon Wireless’s suite of Knowledge Management applications which enable tens of thousands of employees to provide outstanding service to our customers on a daily basis.
In this role you will design and develop solutions to simplify the customer service desktop and provide faster access to the information needed at the time it is needed. You will also work to modernize our application portfolio to make it truly cloud native.
You will use tools and technologies including Adobe Experience Manager, J2EE, JSP, Sling, JSTL/Servlet, OSGI, Oracle PL/SQL, HTML, Dynamic HTML, HTML5, Ajax, Jquery, and Bootstrap to build web based solutions.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
Working knowledge of one or more of the following; J2EE, JSP, Sling, JSTL/Servlet, OSGI, Oracle PL/SQL, HTML, Dynamic HTML, HTML5, Ajax, Jquery, and Bootstrap.
Experience with Adobe AEM.
Working knowledge of AWS.
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Jira, Maven, Fortify, SonarQube, Git, Stash).
Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
