We are looking for a technology lead for our client sub-ledger project. This project is an important technology for our Investment Banking and Real Estate businesses. Each year, there are billions of dollars of fees and expenses for these businesses that need to be accounted for, allocated and billed to the clients. This application forms the core of these functions. The application interacts closely with other Investment Banking systems as well as the firms General Ledger. The user base for the application is global with the main users being in Finance or Investment Banking businesses.

This role would manage a small global team focused on the development of new functionality as well as enhancements. This role requires strong technological and analytical skills. Most of the new development is to enable new business models or expand functionality into new locations. The work provides the opportunity to interact with personnel from multiple divisions. In addition to the core development work, they would also interact and monitor the support team to understand if there are steps that the development team can take to improve the application. The technology stack is mainly distributed with JAVA, C# and Sybase backend.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
? Java Server Side development (5-10 years)
? Multi-threaded programming
? Strong database skills
? Strong Linux/Unix skills
? Working knowledge of scripting language ? PERL/Shell scripting
? Familiarity with Build integration using Ant, Ivy, Electric commander
? Technical management of global team
? Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
? Self driven
