The Fusion Applications Developer Relations team is looking for an Oracle ADF Developer to work on building prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and tools to support Oracle Cloud Applications.
The team develops resources to support Oracle partners and customers to ensure successful application implementation, integration, and extension. As such this is a good opportunity to be involved with special projects on the leading edge of the Oracle Cloud.
Successful candidates must have a strong experience of building complete Oracle ADF applications, working with components across the entire development architecture. Other experience in J2EE development would also be of interest.
Additionally experience of developing with cloud applications platforms (particularly the Salesforce platform) is desirable but not essential.
Candidates should be proven self-starters, with experiences of design-code-test-deployment of requirements they taken ownership of. They should be well-organized, a good communicator, and illustrate great value as part of a team.
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
