Summary

The manager is responsible for the execution of the day to day default servicing processes through the management of a team of direct reports.  This role requires strong people management, process management, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Works with internal partners to identify and implement process improvements and strategic initiatives to further advance the well managed agenda

Establishes and communicates objectives; holds direct reports accountable for results; resolves performance issues; provides ongoing feedback and recognition for performance; coaches to ensure associate development

Contributes to, or is responsible for, identifying, recruiting, and/or hiring the most qualified individuals to ensure the superior quality of Capital One’s workforce

Develops and enforces policies, procedures, or processes that are used within Capital One

Ensure all internal and departmental service level agreements are met

Strong problem solving abilities and the ability to identify solutions through root cause analysis

Identifies solutions to problems through root cause analysis and communicates recommendations to Senior Leadership

Develops associates to assist in furthering their professional growth

- High school diploma, GED, equivalent certification, or military experience

- At least 3 years of experience in People Management

- At least 3 years of Mortgage Servicing

- 4 years of people management experience

- 2 years of process management experience
