Located in Skillman, NJ; Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company is a corporate division focused primarily on research, development and engineering within Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies. We develop a comprehensive array of well-known health care products in the adult skin and hair, women's health, oral health, wound care, infant, kids and teen categories. Included are such brand names as BAND-AID® Adhesive Bandages, JOHNSON'S® Baby products, REACH® oral health products, NEUTROGENA®, AVEENO® and CLEAN & CLEAR® skin care products.
The co-op program provides an opportunity for students to be exposed to our process of developing and supporting new and beneficial skincare products for global markets. Peers, senior personnel, and supervisors provide informal mentoring and coaching towards successful outcomes. Selected co-ops work on pre-assigned projects including ideation, investigational research and concept development, in-vitro research, method development and clinical studies. Co-ops will work in a laboratory environment and/or in research pilot facilities. Co-ops may work within cross-functional or interdisciplinary teams and may have multiple internal partners and customers.
Based on location of assignment, Johnson & Johnson offers housing assistance to Co-ops who live more than 50 miles from their work-site location. This housing assistance includes options for subsidized rent in a fully-furnished apartment close to the work-site location, or a stipend payment for candidates to use at their discretion. Daily transportation to and from the work-site location is the student’s responsibility, as most locations are not accessible via public transportation and company transportation is not provided.

Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitations and require no sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status).
Candidate must be a student enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree seeking program majoring in a Science related field.
Candidates majoring in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology and Physics are strongly preferred.
Candidate must have a minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA at the time of application.
Candidates must be able to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 6 month co-op.
