An Application Engineer IV job in Mountain View, CA is available courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technical. As part of the Project Soli team, you will develop software, tools, and algorithms for novel touchless gesture sensors. You will implement machine-learning tools that can train, analyze, and validate gesture recognition algorithms at scale. You will work closely with the gesture recognition team to improve system performance and play an integral role enabling a new state-of-the-art touchless interfaces.
Application Engineer IV job responsibilities include:
You will develop software for scalable tools that can train, validate, visualize, and improve machine learning pipelines.
Apply, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning algorithms for touchless gesture sensors.
Implement tools for ground truth data recording, labeling, and visualization.
Manage distributed analysis infrastructure
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience in developing software for one or more of the following areas: applied machine learning, distributed data analysis and visualization, automated data segmentation and labeling.
Excellent C, C++, or Python programming skills.
Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques for classification, regression, data preprocessing, and evaluation.
Experience developing using modern distributed systems/tools.
Experience managing and monitoring distributed infrastructures.
Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
Experience applying machine learning to real-time interactive systems.
Experience with a range of data capture systems (motion capture, RGB video, depth cameras).
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Willingness to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced environment.
Product development experience.
