Adecco Direct Hire is recruiting on behalf of its client for the job of Jr. Architectural Project Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a foot in the door and growth with this expanding company. You will be responsible for providing support toward the coordination of the project from an architectural standpoint. This includes communication with different stakeholders to increase collaboration between internal and external design teams in order to design the most efficient and standardized structure possible.

You will:

Attend Project meetings/calls
Prepare Coordination Packages/Log
Model Reviews
Submittal Reviews
Clash Detection
Collaborating with Consulting Engineer
Quality Assurance-review the Revit model for any errors (drawings, modeling, and trend log). Review the submittal seta for any errors (format, detailing, content, coordination) Reduce RFI's during construction that result from unclear or incomplete project submittals as well as reduce questions from Field Services team that are from unfamiliarity with project details and enforcing standardization during design.
Project Document Tracking-File all incoming files from external and internal teams in appropriate location. Also keep all drawing sets in one common locations for the entire company and keeping the documented updated at all times. Update current drawing sets to Procore, review sheet sets and notify project team
Team/Department Development-As part of development job shadowing will be part of development. This includes the attendance of project specific coordination meetings at the direction of the Design Project Manager (DPM) and taking minutes in DPM's absence.
Dial in to all coordination calls to stay abreast of the projects progress and development.
Track IDP hours for licensure (if applicable)
Attend code classes for credits towards IDP (If applicable)

You will have:

Accredited degree in architecture (Bachelor's or Masters of Architecture) or engineering
One to three years of architectural experience
Auto Desk Revit
Knowledge of architecture and architectural principles and techniques
Knowledge of types of buildings materials and construction methods
Autodesk Bluebeam
Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Excellent communication skills with polished business accumen
Ability to travel (occasional)
