Adecco is currently assisting a national client in recruiting for an Operations Manager job in Chicago. This is a long term temporary opportunity. The Operations Manager will be on the front lines of the day-to-day shopping operations within a designated group of retail stores. You will be expected to achieve strong performance metrics of accuracy and efficiency in your work, and look for ways to improve daily.
We are interested in a person who will help define processes by analyzing data to improve the current process and create new processes as our program grows. The Operations Manager will drive initiatives related to the on boarding & training of new operators and merchant partners, process improvement projects, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
¿Manages SLA performance through metrics and develops operational improvements to optimize store ops efficiency.
¿Evaluates quality issues in operations and identifies and implements improvements with training, SOPs and new/revised tools
¿Defines, plans, tracks, communicates and coordinates the necessary tasks and sequencing of same to achieve the desired improvement.
¿Works closely with Store Managers/Employees, Product Management, and Engineering to provide input into ongoing product development.
¿Manages/Trains/Motivates a team of operators to execute fulfillment tasks.
¿Develops SOPs and training materials for operators, as necessary
¿Work with cross functional team to troubleshoot non-technical account management issues (payments, feeds, policies)
¿Must be able to work between the hours of 8am-8pm, full-time, covered by multiple shifts, Sunday-Saturday.
¿On-site: Will travel to local stores to visit Store Operators employees (as needed).

Qualifications:
¿Bachelor's Degree Required
-Engineering background preferred
¿Experience in Operations Management is a plus but not required
¿Experience in Project Coordination / Management is a plus but not required
¿Experience driving Process Improvement projects
¿Motivated and Creative Thinker
¿Excellent Communication Skills, written & verbal
