This position is for Adecco's large Global Client who makes a variety of products from medical and office supplies and electronic circuitry. Length of W-2 position: 12+ Months contract with possible extension based on Business Need

Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the development
of products used in the Graphics and Architectural Markets business. Works with moderate work direction, and
can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.

Worker performs chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research,
development, or quality control of processes and products. Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and
documenting results. Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is
required. Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection
procedures and/or the product line are required. Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred. Must
be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Carryout wet and dry experiments with vinyl films.
• Completing physical property testing of films and substrates.
• Analyzing test results.
• Building signage prototypes.
• Mixing and coating of various materials for testing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 (one) year experience with conducting testing in a laboratory environment
• Minimum 1 (one) year experience with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
• Two year technical or Associates degree from an accredited university
• 3M experience
• Previous technical training applicable to laboratory procedures, skills and methods
• Experience writing test methods
• Experience with testing films
• Team player with the ability to contribute in a matrix environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Travel: May include up to 10% (domestic)
