This role will be responsible for developing solutions and delivering results as part the Treasury cash reporting and forecasting team. This role will be responsible for collaborating with GE Industrial businesses to support the build of robust cash and liquidity reporting solutions, ensuring that the businesses have visibility to all cash activity including both internal and external cash flows to support more informed strategic and working capital decisions.
This role will work closely with business finance teams to leverage Treasury data and systems to support FCF and CFOA forecasting; Liaising with business units, Treasury and Regional teams to support global funding requirements; Support broader cash reporting and analytics initiatives related to cash transformation:
+ As capability is built, support ongoing cash management efforts with Industrial business units or at a company level.
+ Enhance the company's visibility and control over cash, resulting in a more efficient model for liquidity management.
+ Support ongoing activity related to business cash forecasting and reporting, cash management processes and operational analysis. The ratio of project vs. run activity will evolve over time as the capability is developed.
+ Monitoring forecast vs. actual variances and engage with business and IT teams to improve forecasting.
+ Perform extensive data gathering and analysis to understand current state, identify areas for improvement and related change management impact on existing systems and processes.
+ Define and deliver on design decisions, requirements, use cases and process maps for the future state.
+ Coordinate with solution providers to define functionality needs and assist in configuration and build effort.
+ Design and execute solution testing and training.
+ Lead data and financial analytics to support cash transformation initiatives; Work across functions and interact with providers and users of data to develop cash and liquidity models for the company.
+ Act as business liaison to Treasury for cash management initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or related field and at least 4 years of experience within a corporate treasury organization or financial services business.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience with analytical exercises.
+ Strong Proficiency in MS Access and Excel; Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and data management skills.
+ Ability to work in a dynamic environment that changes often, analyze complex processes and large sets of data, collaborate with a wide variety of teams (e.g.,
+ Treasury, IT, and Business Units) and communicate findings in a crisp manner. Eligibility Qualifications:
