Lead Assembler - 2nd shift

Power Systems, Electrical Sector - Americas has an opening for a Lead Assembler on 2nd shift (3:00 – 11:00PM) at the Lincoln Avenue facility in Waukesha, WI
Hook up leads on secondary and primary coils and accessories for single and three phase transformers.
1.Positions and shapes leads for proper clearances within tank.
2.Mig welds laminated leads to bus bar.
3.Brazes, welds, or crimps secondary leads to coil.
4.Assemble and hook up dual voltage switches, tap changers singularly or in gangs and other accessories required.  Must take into consideration the positioning, clearances, etc., required for tanking.
5.Fits, and cuts wood braces for secondary and primary leads, including layout, and bolts onto core and coil frame.
6.Measures and cuts leads to proper lengths.  Measures, cuts, strips, insulates and crimps terminals on other required leads.
7.Minor coil repair, as needed caused by handling, etc.


•High School Diploma or GED is required from an accredited institution
•Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
•No Relocation. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI in order to be considered
•Education in AC/DC fundamentals and /or previous electrical experience
•Previous welding experience
