MetLife’s Employee Experience (EE) IT team is a high energy, dynamic group of IT professionals. The Employee Experience team is leading an exciting transformational program with many initiatives underway to create a digitally connected workplace that will increase productivity and engagement. The Lead Business Systems Analyst with an extensive background on User Experience (UX/UI) analysis and design will be working with a close-knit team to deliver technology solutions that will transform the ways we work and create a unique MetLife work experience for employees across the globe.  The associate will be working with internal stakeholders to analyzing user behaviors, flows and develop digital solutions to improve the user experience in the areas of collaboration, employee self-services and knowledge management.


  • Works with internal stakeholders to define overall design and user experience perspective
  • Evaluates business needs, product requirements, and user feedback and transform them into user-focused and intuitive web, mobile and product experiences.
  • Strategizes with project team and other key stakeholders to create functional specification documentation, including layout, navigation and flow so that designs maximize usability and performance, being mindful of key branding and business concerns.
  • Develops the creation of low to high fidelity design assets, which include wireframes, interactive prototypes, and redline comps.
  • Ensures a cohesive, quality user experience across the platforms including adherence to the design guidelines and any other pattern libraries.


  • 5+ years of experience in a user experience position including wire framing
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development working with cross-functional teams creating and iterating design concepts and assets
  • Understand, conceptualize, and implement designs across multiple platforms, including web, mobile and third-party app integration
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and associates to coordinate visual storytelling matching project objectives and effectively communicate concepts in graphical and visual means
  • Strong organizational skills – must be able to juggle multiple projects and priorities while keeping projects on schedule with strong focus on meeting commitments and deliverables
  • Excellent communication, planning, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s required
  • Prefer: CSS, HTML, JavaScript, similar
