Job Description As the Lead Engineer, you will research, design, test, implement and educate delivery area teams on the latest open source software, technologies and methodologies at CVS Health.
Understanding challenges of large-scale cloud deployment and upgrade as well as resource allocation, designing and work to innovate technologies or solutions for effective resource allocation, fast application deployment and zero downtime upgrades will be key responsibilities in this role.
Additionally, you will deliver rapidly iterative new design or new architecture as well as platform production releases and need to have deep knowledge of various cloud infrastructure hardware and software such as OpenStack , AWS, GCP and Azure, as well as the underlying architecture for hyper-converged technologies and Pivotal Cloud
Required Qualifications-Minimum of 5 years of large scale distributed software design and development.
-Experience delivering large systems to a predefined schedule.
-Extensive design and implementation experience and leadership experience leading and educating
-Experience in one or more of the following development languages: Go, NodeJS , React, Spring-Java.
-Experience in one or more of the following cloud platforms: Cloud Foundry, Openshift , AWS Web Services, Microsoft Azure,Google App Engine, Heroku , or other PaaS technologies.
-Migration experience from Monolithic application development to micro services.
-Experience with a CI/CD pipeline GIT, Stash, Bit Bucket, Artifactory , Jenkins, etc.
Preferred Qualifications-Experience in XP development and the Pivotal Way
-Experience in big data real time analysis is a plus.
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education-Bachelors degree or High School Diploma/GED accompanied by additional 4 years of related work experience.
