Role Summary:

In the role of Lead Engineer - Field Services, you will:

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Manage projects / service installing Bently Nevada hardware and software in a wide variety of machine types encountered in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, and other process industries

+ Perform designs (using AutoCAD) of all necessary machinery modifications, transducer brackets, cable routing, junction boxes, monitoring systems, computers, software, and all project aspects to retrofit for transducers and monitoring systems

+ Supervise mechanical and electrical sub-trades, and machine disassembly / reassembly

+ Perform installations, commissioning, configuration, and trouble-shooting of Bently Nevada Hardware and Software Products and Solutions at BHGE and customer locations

+ Diagnose machinery problems based upon: vibration data, operational data, and customer communications

+ Provide leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, user, and other BHGE field personnel in the diagnostic and long-term maintenance of Bently Nevada equipment and customers' rotating machinery

+ Assure service is executed in accordance with the cost allocations that are budgeted, including direct cost and labor hour management

+ Assure the service is executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the customer's schedule

+ Understand contractual commitments pertaining to terms and conditions

+ Track, report and forecast financials on individual projects on a regular basis

+ Coordinate different personnel and groups involved in the service contract

+ Identify problems and take the initiative to eliminate those problems for project/service success

+ Complete installation documentation

+ Perform Asset Management / Reliability Service Studies

+ Prepare timely work order requests, quotes, service reports, invoicing packages and other administrative requirements timely

+ Assess job site Safety and perform services as per GE Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies

+ Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality

+ Support the growth initiatives of the business

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanics (BSME) or Electronics (BSEE)

+ Minimum 2 years of project management and/or industry (energy and/or oil & gas) experience

+ Minimum 2 years of machinery diagnostics field experienceEligibility Requirements:

+ Travel up to 80%of the time, as required

+ Work significant over-time

+ Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport)

+ Obtain TWIC Card
