General Statement of Duties :
Responsible for taking a lead role among the financial coordinators, ensuring coordination of daily tasks, staff training, and in-services. Responsible for maintaining demographic and insurance information on all patients referred to Transplant Services as well as verifying insurance benefits and obtaining authorization for all outpatient and inpatient transplant services. Is the financial liaison between the transplant clinic and the patient/family, ensuring that prospective candidates for transplant are fully aware of their transplant insurance benefits . Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience:
- Must be a high school graduate;
- College experience preferred.
- Must have minimum 2-years experience in insurance verification/authorization or related field
