Job Location: This position is virtual and can be based anywhere in the USA.



MetLife is seeking a bright, diligent person to join our HRIS Administration team. Candidates should have a successful track record working with corporate cloud HR systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, etc. Candidates must be detailed-oriented and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Global experience with Oracle HCM Cloud/Fusion is highly desired.

The ideal candidate will have experience with administering Global HR information systems, experience with gathering requirements, data privacy, as well as, demonstrated abilities to map requirements to standard Cloud-based functionality. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for identifying process improvement areas and developing future business process flows.  



  • Identify business requirements and map them to delivered Cloud functionality
  • Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables using SDLC and/or iterative development best practices
  • Proposes, develops, tests, implements and evaluates very large and complex modifications and/or additions to HRIS.
  • Conducts operational effectiveness reviews to ensure functional or project systems are applied and functioning as designed. 
  • Acts as a liaison with IT to define requirements in the creation, upgrading, and maintenance of HRIS reports, databases and programs. 


  • 8-10 years of relevant business experience
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion), highly preferred
  • Broad knowledge of business functions,  systems design processes, methodologies, and testing tools.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and supporting experiences managing complex initiatives or production support processes requiring challenging stakeholders to navigate multiple processes
  • Able to participate in high performing virtual teams in a global environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, driven, detail oriented, focused, innovative, and motivated
  • Technical ability to manage and understand the implications of managing metadata and control tables in a complex environment
  • Foreign language proficiency is beneficial
