BHGE is looking for a self-motivated Product Manager to drive Dresser Pipeline Solutions product portfolio principality in in the natural gas distribution and transmission markets.
In the role of Lead Product Management Specialist , you will:
+ Collaborate with customer facing team and customer technical teams to determine and develop value added solutions
+ Shape and execute product road map to ensure Dresser Pipeline Solutions product leadership in the relevant markets
+ Proactively gather, prioritize and validate market and customer needs, and competitive landscape
+ Build and oversee product requirements specifications and backlog
+ Craft and deliver product presentations, documentation, FAQ and white papers to sales staff, customers and prospects
+ Closely collaborate with engineering to plan portfolio releases and deliver high quality products
+ Train and collaborate with DSMs and customers on products and capabilities
+ Be accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives
+ Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Design, or sales support in the natural gas distribution and transmission market
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university preferred
+ Engineering background in pipeline products design and application preferred
+ Product management experience preferred
+ High technical and process knowledge of Dresser Pipeline Solutions products and customers
+ Strong knowledge of natural gas distribution and transmission systems including practices and standards
+ Creative and open minded person that can proactively identify trends and opportunities, and independently execute the full process from idea to product
+ Strong leader with passion and "can do" approach to create compelling product experience
+ Proactive independent self-starter to drive toward deadlines and deliverables in a multi-tasking environment
+ Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
