The Lead Records Manager will have accountability for designing a strategy, collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders and operationalizing a plan to develop the organization's Records Management (RM) function. Directs operations that may include records management, forms management, electronic information and image management, paper records and corporate/related archives to ensure information is managed efficiently and effectively. The Lead Records Manager is accountable for the day-to-day management, oversight and direction of the records management program.
In terms of teaming, the Lead Records Manager will lead a lean, cross-functional internal team that is supported by a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) and other service providers. The Lead Records Manager will also be responsible for collaborating with Brighthouse Financial’s compliance, data governance, operational risk management, legal and audit functions. Cost and associated risk factors will be key variables to rationalize and balance to ensure program success.
This Lead Records Manager will be responsible for developing a strategic plan for a Records Management program (RM) using leading practice methodologies to support and achieve long-range organizational goals. As part of the strategy and plan, the Director should:
