The Lead Systems Analyst is responsible to provide successful implementation and management of Visa services (applications) in the production environments. Ensuring the service meets the corporate quality, security and compliance standards, providing the documentation for the ongoing support and maintenance of the systems.
This person will manage/lead various application portfolios of Digital & mobile and Visa Developer Platform. This includes maintaining the customer relationship, responding to customer queries and helping troubleshoot data and application issues.
Responsible for evaluating the Issues reported by the Business Users and members and providing ongoing solutions to ensure operational support structure and issues are being tracked for analysis, tracking and resolution, and proactive communication of issue status.
Responsible for managing the enhancements of the Business Intelligence products along with performance improvement and tuning.
Collaborate closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve the production issues.
Work with cross-functional teams (Development, Quality Engineering, Release Management, Operations, and Product Management) for continual product delivery improvement
Will be responsible for managing the Service Level Agreements (SLA) with customers on problem tickets and managing the workflow to achieve the SLAs.
Will lead a team of onsite and offshore resources in a matrix organization acting as delivery manager and resource manager.
Ensure the service meets the corporate quality, security and compliance standards, providing the documentation for the ongoing support and maintenance of the systems.
Provide subject matter expertise across Java Platforms, Mobile products, Developer platforms from supper perspective.
Maintain proactive communication with the customer base to ensure successful delivery and effective use of information programs
Work with customers on business needs and requirements, and supporting internal and regional development and operations team to address data and service issues.
Develop, document, and educate users and developers on policies and procedures. Manage decision making on design test criterion and test plans. Participate in the decision making of success or failure of application systems to be deployed in production and assesses risk associated to control and policy exceptions. Participate and determine root cause for service failure and support escalation and implement new processes when necessary. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills.
At least 10 years of Software Development Life Cycle including production support and development experience, working with OLAP and reporting tools with large databases/data warehouses in a globally distributed team.
Minimum of 5 years experience with payment /financial industry and data security experience is a must.
Minimum of 5 years experience with Apache, Tomcat, Siteminder and LDAP
J2EE technologies, Mobile products, Web services, Microservices, SOA, JSON, Web services security (datapower, Layer 7 etc..), Access and Authorization platforms.
Experience in Knowledge of the credit card industry, including transaction flows and data is required.
Good experience with ITIL, BMC Remedy and ticketing workflows.
Understanding of risks and their impacts on the Visa business.
Possess demonstrated ability to create and execute complex SQLs in a Oracle environment.
Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
