The Leadership and Talent Development Manager will design, develop, implement and manage enterprise-wide development solutions for staff, managers and Human Resources (HR) as well as provide regional support to one or more global regions within Amgen world-wide. The jobholder will focus on the following key result areas:
Program Management
To manage the Embark career transition program for aspiring people managers
To facilitate learning through teaching and coaching feedback as part of this program
Client Focused Development Solutions
Partner with HR and business clients to design and deliver/co deliver leadership, talent solutions
Facilitate client team effectiveness workshops e.g. MBTI
Project Management - Organizational Development
To manage the implementation of corporate OD initiatives
To monitor the effectiveness and integration of OD projects to ensure realization of planned benefits
HR Business Partner Toolkit
To coordinate multiple HR sub disciplines to design and implement a range of practical client focused tools, resources and solutions for use by HRBP's
To train HR staff to use the toolkit content to meet client needs
To ensure the web based toolkit offering is compelling, relevant and known within the HR community

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree
Master's degree & 2 years of Learning & Development, Human Resources or Instructional Design experience
Bachelor's degree & 4 years of Learning & Development, Human Resources or Instructional Design experience
Associate's degree & 10 years of Learning & Development, Human Resources or Instructional Design experience
High school diploma / GED & 12 years of Learning & Development, Human Resources or Instructional Design experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Previous experience designing and delivering talent, leadership, organization development solutions to or within organizations to middle manager level
Confident in the facilitation of leadership programs and team effectiveness events
Strong client relationship management skills towards providing development solutions that address business needs
Ability to provide individual coaching and feedback to business clients
Ability to lead, plan, organize and implement client focused projects involving behavioral and/or cultural change
Certification in behavioral and team assessment methods for example - MBTI, DiSC and/or in Team Management Profile
Experience working in a HR function in partnership with HR Business partners to provide business solutions
Recognized coaching certification
