  • Perform all make ready functions, as assigned.

  • Obtain information from job tickets and prepare press accordingly.

  • Attend to the press during a run to ensure proper operational quality is maintained when operator is away from press.

  • Perform Press Wash-Up/Clean-Up procedures.

  • Perform press maintenance/upkeep.

  • Issue materials.

  • Assembly and disassembly of cylinders, bears, gears, and dies.

  • Must be flexible on shifts and willing to work overtime, as required.


  • Employee must have lean training and support a lean culture

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

  • Ability to use Standard and Metric units of measurement.

  • Ability to differentiate colors.

  • Ability to stand continuously, aside from breaks, for an entire shift, plus overtime.

  • Ability to provide quality workmanship, under tight deadlines in a safe manner.


  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in printing preferred.


  • Seeing and hearing: Read documents, a computer screen, answer a phone and communicate in person.

  • Dexterity: utilizing a phone, typing and writing.

  • Lifting: must be able to roll up to 100lbs.

  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting of lumbar and squatting.

  • Carrying: 5 gallon buckets weighing up to 50lbs and rolling product that can weigh up to 100lbs.

  • Walking: Walking on cement floors and anti-fatigue mats.

  • Standing: Standing on cement floors, anti-fatigue mats continuously throughout the day.

  • Frequent reaching below the waist and below the shoulder level.

  • Continuous to frequent (depending on certain press stations) wrist motions and gripping.

  • Depending on press, pallet jack will be utilized to remove finalized product.
