We are seeking a smart, enthusiastic, and experienced professional to create high-impact sales effectiveness solutions for our North America Sales Development teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Co-create the strategy to build a high-performing Sales Development (SD) team by:
  • Partnering with the SD Leadership team to understand their business priorities and needs, and determine what SD excellence looks like
  • Partnering closely with SD Operations, Insights, and Measurement Analyst on the SEFF Operations team to measure the impact of all SEFF solutions as part of the SD Sales Academy (see below)
  • Seamlessly partnering with Sales Effectiveness teammates to implement solutions across the globe and across lines of business to leverage work and gain economies of scale
  • Co-Design and roll-out the SD Sales Academy, which consists of SD Reps and Managers:
  • Being on-boarded into the Business Leadership Program (graduate sales program)
  • Being continuously coached in their BLP role
  • Being on-boarded into the SD team
  • Being continuously coached in the SD role
  • Going through a "Sales Readiness" program to equip them will the skills needed to enter a Sales Role at LinkedIn
  • A large portion of this person's time will be focused on the "Sales Readiness" aspect of the SD Sales Academy in 2017
  • When appropriate, program manage the full development life-cycle for SD-driven initiatives from inception to delivery. For example, the Sales Readiness portion of the SD Sales Academy.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience driving sales training and broader Sales Effectiveness programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3+ years SMB/ENT sales (or relevant) experience
  • Proficient at building strong, lasting relationships with senior level sales managers
  • Excels in execution, establishing priorities and meeting swift deadlines in a fast pace, in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute
  • Demands excellence
  • Proven success at managing cross functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and self-directed
  • Expert in using the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience building Sales Effectiveness programs for sales professionals a plus
  • Experience in behavioral science a plus
  • MBA/MS/MA (emphasis on Instructional Design or behavioral science a plus)
  • SAAS in Media Based Products/Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and content management system a plus
  • Experience leveraging standard eLearning tools (Articulate, Captivate, Brainshark, etc.) and web-based meeting tools to create instructionally sound learning programs is desired

  • The Learning Consultant will report to the Global Manager, Sales Effectiveness supporting SD
  • Ability to travel (25%)
