Job Description
As a Legal Administrative Assistant you will be supporting multiple attorneys in the Irving, TX office. You will be assisting with preparation of legal documents and correspondence, maintaining calendar for meetings and deadline tracking purposes, directing telephone calls, and maintaining files and correspondence.

You will also be asked to understand applicable corporate policies and processes necessary to provide administrative support. Legal research and special projects as assigned.

Additionally, you will provide general legal administrative support including but not limited to:

- Typing

- Appointment scheduling Travel arrangements
- Handling phone, mail and faxes
- Maintaining files
- Managing internal IT support requests
- Editing legal documents Preparing expense reports
- Assisting with budget matters
- Photocopying
- Organizing meetings and conference calls, etc.
- Special projects

Additionally, must be responsive to, and work collaboratively with, other members of the Law Department, outside counsel and key business contacts. Must possess excellent organizational skill and exhibit attention to detail in all job duties. Able to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Must be comfortable working with frequently changing priorities and tight time deadlines. Must understand and protect confidential nature of the matters handled by the Law Department.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Law department / law firm background preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail.
- Desired familiarity with legal, contractual, and pharmaceutical industry terminology.
- Degree preferred but not required.

- Verifiable high school diploma or GED
