  • Brighthouse Financial is seeking current law students to participate in its Legal Internship program this summer 
  • Practice areas generally include: Insurance Law, Securities Law, Contracting, and Litigation; Employment Law, Claims Litigation and Benefits; Privacy and Procurement Support.


This is a 10 week paid internship opportunity available to current students enrolled in an accredited law school.  The program begins June 5, 2017 and ends August 11, 2017



  • The Legal Intern will work in Brighthouse Financial’s Charlotte, NC office 
  • The Legal Intern is expected to work 35-40 hours per week 
  • All “resumes” should begin with a cover letter in the content of the document with the resume to follow.  Please include current GPA on the resume.  A complete application will include a cover letter and resume combined into one document and uploaded to this online application website, attached to your application.


  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited law school during the Fall 2017 semester  (Required)
  • Able to work full time 35-40 hours per week
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills / interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
