The Associate Compliance Analyst will be an independent contributor and part of the Licensing team that will be responsible for processing and maintaining state insurance licensing, insurance company appointments, and FINRA/state securities registration information for Brighthouse employees and third-party brokers who sell Brighthouse life and annuity products.  The Licensing and Registration unit is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring exceptional multi-tasking skills to navigate through the many elements involved with the constantly changing state laws and securities regulations related to licensing.



  • Assist with daily Licensing and Registration processing activities, including but not limited to state insurance licensing, insurance company appointments, FINRA registrations, background checks, and training requirements
  • Respond to calls and emails from customers and business partners regarding Licensing and Registration policies and procedures
  • Interpret, explain, and apply regulatory and company guidelines as they relate to licensing, appointment and securities registrations
  • Review and analyze producer credentials to ensure compliance with company and regulatory licensing, appointment, and securities registrations
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of Licensing and Registration support and services
  • Provide excellent customer service support to internal and external customers and business partners
  • Conduct research on cases requiring in-depth study and analysis




  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • Commitment to accuracy, quality, and timeliness with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate information to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow-up
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills in order to identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Ability to interact and work collaboratively and constructively with various partners within the organization
  • Strong PC and data entry skills
