In general, the focus of this position will be on responsibility for Life Safety Systems process transfers to virtual factory sites around the world and system development. Responsibilities include reviewing system component level matching, documentation for receiving sites, reference and matching WP reviews and developing new system capability. In this position, you will need to effectively perform construction and/or operational audits of the receiving factory. Technical skills required include proficiency with Databases (MS Access), MS Excel, programming experience with PLCs, HTML, SQL. Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal skills required. Desired knowledge in IT/SCADA networks.
This position will require a strong lead in system ownership and direction. This includes both sustaining and construction support for Fire/Evacuation, Early Warning Smoke Detection, Liquid Leak Detection, Tool Annunciation System (TAS), and Hazardous Production Material (HPM) alarm systems and detection equipment. Primary responsibilities include PLC programming and troubleshooting for the HPM and TAS system and associated I/O point management, implementing, tracking and managing continuous improvement projects.
This Engineering position will necessitate support of new tool installations/demos and building modifications; working with the County/City and Intel code officials to ensure compliance to all building code and system testing requirements. Duties also include reviewing and approving facility plans, layouts, drawings, and providing technical input for equipment installations/removals, chemical processes, and safety control systems.
This position may require off shift work and on call coverage as needed. All LSS/ERT personnel are expected to role model safety practices at all times.
Minimum Qualification Skills (Must Have Skills):
- BS 1 yr. exp. or MS degree in Electrical Engineering,
