Role Summary:

Responsible for review and validation of global telecom circuit procurement details and submission of order details to vendors to include: Site contact and termination details, GE internal financial classifications for bill back and carrier bill payment. Partner with business, CoreTech finance, & global telecom providers to deliver comprehensive network infrastructure within project timelines. Responsible for maintaining internal process and procedures to meet overall business requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Act as point of contact for all datacoms orders with carriers and liaison to the GE businesses

+ Participate in financial review processes to confirm expenses are identified with proper BUC ADN and investigate missing data

+ Maintain Asset database for circuits and network Hardware

+ Ensure quote documentation is up to date to facilitate accurate payment to vendors

+ Partner with the businesses and teams to validate all ordering components of datacomsservices to ensure turn up can be completed when carrier services are delivered.

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ HS Diploma or GED required

+ 1-2 years' experience required

Eligibility Requirements:

+ Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job

+ Must be willing to work out of an office located in Atlanta, GA

+ Solid working knowledge in WAN transport systems / services and Telecommunicationssystems /services

+ Strong negotiation skills, provide leadership to process improvement programs

+ Experience leading technical initiatives within the networking space

+ Understanding of ITIL support framework for all Voice and Data Network service lines

+ Able to work within a culture of continuous improvement and change in a fast paced global delivery environment

+ Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities

+ Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources

+ Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others

+ Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
