This position supports the photometric application portion of our sales and support team. The Lighting Applications Engineer is responsible for delivering complex lighting designs and installation packages, applying the appropriate knowledge, skills and techniques required to communicate and document the correct type, quantities and photometric analysis of our Lighting products. The position shall be capable of reading and interpreting reflected ceiling plans, blueprint symbols and notes. The incumbent is to insure that all incoming requests are handled in an expeditious manner and that the information provided to the requestor is in keeping with published procedures, requirements and company policies.  These requests may originate from inside sales, agents, specifiers, owners, etc., whoever may be specifying, applying or ordering Eaton’s Ephesus Lighting products.
 
Essential Functions:
 
 


Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Basic Qualifications
 
  • Associates degree from an accredited institution or two year technical degree.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in CAD
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, AGI32 ,Bluebeam, Photometric Experience, Electrical Theory
  • Experience with the lighting industry
  • Experience in engineering or architecture
  • Strong knowledge in Eaton’s Lighting product lines
  • Strong PC skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
