Linux Systems Administrator

The RHEL Linux Administrator will be responsible for multiple areas. primary focus will be on Linux Administration, however, experience with enterprise storage, virtualization, and operations within a datacenter will round out the ideal candidate. This person will take care of the daily administration of the Linux servers in a clustered environment, as well as some maintenance of the smaller Windows platform - 12 servers or less, to ensure that the servers are up and running to accommodate the research needs of the staff. This person needs to be adaptive to technologies, be outgoing and a team player. Below are job responsibilities/expectations of the ideal candidate:
1) RHEL Administration Exp-There are 80 virtual/10 physical servers in a clustered environment. This person will be responsible for both projects and daily administration of the servers. (Building servers for customers, doing configurations, administration, and standard maintenance of the environment.) There will be some inventory management and time spent creating new environments with supervision. This person will be doing automation, as well, using Perl, Python, or Bash scripting.
2) Enterprise Storage Experience - This person needs to have a basic understanding of what storage is in order to act as a backup to the lead storage admin. This environment has a relatively large infrastructure with 4 enterprise storage systems (2-Netapp, 1 Isolon). 3 of the storage systems are clustered, so having clustering experience is a plus. This person will be exposed to the administration and management of the storage system. He/She will assist with storage volume creations, sharing creations, moving storage bins around, changing drives, and possibly talking to vendors if there is an issue.
3) Virtualization - This environment is 90% virtual. This person needs to have an understanding of what virtualization management is about. He/She will be creating VM's, managing them, managing snapshots of servers, and doing virtualization work vs. architecting the environment.
Nice to haves:
1) Windows-fewer than 12 servers but need to be able to do basic Windows 2008 administration.
