This position reports to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager and has direct responsibility for supporting our external theft shrink initiatives in a multi unit environment. The Market Detective’s primary role is the detection and apprehension of shoplifters as a undercover agent. The Market Detective is responsible for identifying and gathering intel for Organized Retail Crime groups and communicating this information to the RLPM and ORC Field Manager. The Market Detective partners with the store teams to identify theft trends and respond accordingly with scheduling and store support to minimize external theft trends. The Market Detective must possess strong communication skills and a high level of personal integrity and professionalismRequired Qualifications:
MUST be Licensed in the State of New York as a Security Guard or willing to become licensed. * HS Diploma or equivalent • Communication Skills - written and verbalPreferred Qualifications:
