Primary focus is leading the day to day operations for one of GE Aviation's strategic distribution centers focused on meeting or exceeding customer needs.
In addition you will :
+ Manage an overall production facility with a focus on defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety
+ Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards
+ Manage a team of salaried employees to include growth and coaching
+ Develop a strategic plan for the site to continually raise the bar in technology, automation and productivity
+ Collaborate across the Global Distribution Network to uncover and capitalize on best practices
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
+ Minimum of 5 years plant management distribution, logistics experience
+ Minimum of 3 years experience leading an hourly workforce (union or non-union)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :
+ This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
+ Minimum of 5 years plant management distribution, logistics experience with demonstrated success
+ Six Sigma/ Lean experience a plus
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
+ Excellent organizational integration and influencing skills
+ Proven track record for meeting customer / business needs
+ Executive level presentation skills
+ Clear thinking and solid prioritization skills
+ Demonstrated ability to lead projects/ projects

Lynn is the home of the first U.S. jet engine thanks in part to relationships with material science researchers at nearby MIT. This continued relationship allows us to focus on product improvement.
