  • PCA Machine Operator Job Description for Anderson & Greenville Locations:

    Machine Operators are responsible for manufacturing product utilizing primary and secondary processing equipment or hand assembly. Contractors will also follow all procedures and work instructions, in order to achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work (All Shifts Available)

    This is a Full-time position

    Monday-Friday, core work hours

    1st shift- 7:00 am�V 3:12pm $10.25

    2nd shift 3:00pm- 11:12pm $10.50

    ****Urgent Immediate Need for 3rd shift 11:00pm- 7:12am $10.75

    **Flexible hours to be available

    ***Must be available to work weekends when requested from Supervisor

    PCA Machine Operator:

    �nConfirm each product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances.

    �X Correctly record good production and scrap every hour on production paperwork and on the production pace board per work instructions.

    �X Correctly evaluate part quality based on part quality inspection instructions.

    �X Careful handling of parts based on work instructions.

    �X Handle each and every part with care from inspection to pack out to ensure the customers receives a quality product with no molding defects or handling/cosmetic defects.

    �X Correct application of all internal and external labels when required, including removal of all old labels from returnable packaging.

    �X Daily review all applicable quality alerts to keep you informed that a defect has escaped and reduce risk of a repeat failure while a permanent corrective action is put in place.

    �X Immediately notify Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks (ie, sample boards, inspection instructions, SPC, etc.).

    �X Escalate production and quality issues/concerns to Supervisor during production, follow escalation policy.

    �X Keep work area clean and organized in an effort to increase efficiencies and reduce risk of the product being damaged.

    �X Participate in team problem solving activities (ie, 8D's, communication meetings, etc).

    �X Continuously focused on improving processes and participating in training and development

    Job Requirements Required Education and Experience
    �X High School Diploma/GED Required.
    �X One (1) to three (3) months plastic injection molding experience and/or training is preferred.
    �X Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful.
    �X Demonstrated ability to be a reliable, responsible team player focused on producing a top quality product.

    Physical Demands
    While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The associate frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to climb or balance. The associate may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds with the average weight being 10 pounds and occasionally push up to 50 pounds
