+ Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain machine efficiency and meet production standards. + Proactively identifies yarn quality during production runs. + Selects and stages tubes for winder operation. + Doffs off finished yarn packages as required. + Maintains daily production records (Ex. breakouts, roller lamps usage, tunnel stops). + Stays informed of applicable OSHA and company guidelines and operating procedures, and proactively identifies unsafe working, building, and other environmental conditions to management and/or appropriate department for resolution. + Ensures compliance to all company and regulatory safety and environmental guidelines and practices to include wearing the appropriate safety garments, using the appropriate tools and equipments, and exercising the required safety behaviors for the task at hand. + Performs other duties as required.
+ Must be able to Read & Write English + At least 6 months experience in a warehouse position. + Ability to maintain a good attendance record. + Basic computer knowledge required + Reads and writes in standard English + Ability to maintain an acceptable level of attendance in accordance with company and department guidelines. + Must be atleast 18 years old. + Able to work in extreme temperatures. + Able to sit, stand, reach, bend, climb and twist without restrictions. + Able to stand for extended periods of time. + Ability to communicate in standard English to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and to keep simple records and make reports. + Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees in the immediate unit and in related support roles. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating or maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, decimals, and fractions. + Requires a high degree of mental and visual attention to perform all tasks in a safe manner.
