A local leading organization is currently seeking an experienced Mail Room Lead - Mail Room Supervisor - Mail Room Clerk in Cheyenne, WY for a long term, temporary-to-hire opportunity. If you meet the qualifications listed below, please apply now!
Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
At least two years' experience in a mailroom.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer skills including: Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
A Professional Attitude with Proven Track Record of Performance and Results.
Self-Motivation and be detail oriented.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Effectively leads a staff of Mail Room Specialists to ensure daily tasks and department goals are met.
Effectively communicates with all facets of the project to further Mailroom goals.
Perform analysis, identify trends of the MR Specialists, and recommend corrective action to the Operations Manager.
Receive, sort, and prepare incoming mail, including documents for scanning
Operate scanning equipment, mailing machines, copiers, fax machines, and postage meters Batch documents received and organize them for appropriate project staff.
Coordinate Document Control workflow to ensure accurate and timely processing of mail
Prepare outgoing mail as required, weighing, calculating postage and posting letters and parcels.
Log returned packets and letters with bad address flag.
Manage proper disposal of confidential information and recycling material as appropriate
Maintain a defined process to ensure that sufficient funds are available for the account at the main post office and postage meter for outgoing mail.
Maintain required logs and reports for incoming and outgoing mail (postage reports, batch tracking logs)
Travel to and from the mail house, post office and any other locations, as necessary.
Act as a courier for messages, documents and packages for in-house deliveries
This is a 40 hr/week, Monday-Friday position with daytime hours.
Pay for this position is $15 - $17/hr, depending on experience. This is a long term, temporary-to-hire opportunity.
