Adecco Engineering & Technology is currently recruiting for an ongoing contract to hire MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Job located in Fullerton, CA. This is an incredible opportunity with a manufacturing company serving with the food and beverage industry.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Responsibilities are:
Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of plant equipment and facilities. Assist in setting up lines, ordering parts. Maintain parts inventory. Team up with vendors on projects, equipment fabrications. Actively participate in team building and continues improvement activities. Comply with food, occupational safety and quality assurance programs.
Install, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, VFD, PLC, servo drives, AC/DC motors, facilities electrical systems. Work with vendors to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for building, material handling and production equipment. Maintain records of PMs, work orders, equipment documentation.
Activities are associated and not limited to the following equipment: cappers, fillers, scramblers, conveyors, heat sealers, ink jets coders, labelers, hydraulics, various pumps, motors, gear boxes, agitators, case sealers, boiler, AC. compressors etc. Plumbing, electrical a plus and boiler schedule maintenance.
Other duties may be assigned.
5 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/ Electrician.
Must be able to communicate in English (written & verbal).
Knowledge and experience working with PLC.
Will need to pass a physical and drug test exam.
Must be dependable and reliable.
Available some weekends (Saturday).
Bilingual Spanish is a plus!
Any trade school or certifications are a plus.
Must have a valid driver's license
