Exelon Nuclear is currently looking for Electrical Maintenance Technicians/Electricans at our Braidwood Nuclear Station located in Braceville, IL.

Job Description: Repair and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, generators commutators, circuit breakers, controls and relays, switches.  Assist electrical mechanics of higher classification in the performance of their duties.  Make routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages and report conditions found

Position Specs: 

Start date TBD most likely end of May 2017

Rate: $39.23 per hour

Benefits after 90 days

Shift Work

IBEW Local 15 position



Position Requirements:  
-High School diploma or educational equivalent 
-Ability to be Recommended pre-employment testing ---TECH
-Ability to work different shifts 
-Ability to receive unescorted Nuclear access 
-Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills 

-Associates degree in a technical field 
-Three years minimum related Electrical military experience 
-Three years minimum Electrical Industrial Craft Maintenance experience that includes completing a bona fide trades training program  
-Five years minimum Electrical Industrial Craft Maintenance experience 

Please note the first 5-6 months of employment could be spent at a different work location for training purposes.
