Pay Rate/Salary: $11-11 / Hour
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction. Communicates with supervisors or other co-workers to diagnose problems or the repair process of a particular machine. Dismantles malfunctioning machines and equipment, specifics and requests parts as needed and installs new or repaired parts. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. researches and creates spare parts, performs preventative maintenance and generates tool lists for equipment and machinery. Reports breakdown of equipment and machinery, areas of concern and areas of improvement in a timely manner to immediate supervisor and manufacturing supervisor and/or lead person. Cleans and lubricates bearings, gears and other parts of machinery. Operates a forklift, scissor jack, pallet jack, tape measure, calipers, hammer, boom lift, and various other hand tools and related equipment while following all safety procedures. Use of 2-way radio.
Job Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a non-climate controlled environment. Must be able to pass Forklift and Machine Operator assessments. Must have a valid Driver's license.
