Twin Cities Hospital is a 65 bed general acute care facility and proud to offer 100% private rooms. In addition, Twin Cities Hospital is located in beautiful Niceville, FL within 15 miles of the Emerald Coast beaches. TCH is located in Okaloosa County and is one of the premier locations in the state for living, working and vacationing. 7:30am-4pm 36 hours/week. Must be accessible for emergency and on-call duties on a 24-hour basis. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director and Supervisor of Plant Operations, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and heating/air conditioning tasks, installing and repairing equipment and maintaining building and grounds as assigned.
Qualifications: EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
- Program, install, repair and troubleshoot specialized equipment
- Performs grounds work as requested.
- Performs maintenance and repair of landscaping sprinkler system components.
- Performs maintenance and repair of boilers and water softener systems.
• Vocational or technical training preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/COMPETENCY:
• CPI training within 90 days of hire required EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
• Minimum of 1 year Maintenance Mechanic experience or equivalent required, 5 years experience including HVAC preferred.
