Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment and utility systems in food supplement production facility. Have a high level of safety awareness and perform all work in a safe and compliant manner.
Competently operate hand, power, and diagnostic tools. Utilize CMMS programs and maintain records and complete paperwork in accordance with all SOP and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate good communication skills. Develop maintenance procedures and improve equipment and system maintenance.
Determine parts required for repairs and submit requisitions.
Duties require a strong aptitude in mechanical, electrical, machine control and PLC skills. Equipment to be services includes but is not limited to dry powder filling machines, powder blenders, conveyor systems, scales, portable totes, dehumidifiers, and facility related devices.
Participate in safety programs to meet program requirements and contribute to the growth our site's safety culture.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs to manufacturing equipment/systems while maintaining the validated and/or commissioned state
Perform preventive maintenance tasks within scheduled completion dates
Understands site SOPs and cGMPs relative to the position and work within compliance of those standards
Complete paperwork/data entry in accordance with regulatory compliance
Associates degree from an accredited technical/trade school in electro/mechanical or other field or 4 years maintenance/repair experience in a related field
Technical skills require a high aptitude in mechanical, electrical, machine control and PLC skills. Refrigeration and fabrication skills also would be considered beneficial
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Working off ladders, standing, crouching, kneeling and climbing are part of the candidates daily work routine
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
12 hour day work schedule, rotating days of the week including weekends. 3rd shift
