The Duties of a Mechanic Include (but are not limited to): Maintain the operations of equipment Effectively troubleshoot equipment Respond to line calls concerning malfunctioning equipment Complete work orders Ability to plan and complete down day event activities Duties may be varied from time to time for effective plant operations All paperwork associated with work done during shift
High School degree or equivalent / a Vocational or Associates Degree is preferred 3 to 5 years Maintenance experience (preferably within bottling or food manufacturing) Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits, automation/machine programming and the ability to read schematics Extensive experience with PLC's, repair of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic devices Must possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift and be willing to work extended hours and weekends
Physical Requirements: Mechanics must be able to withstand long periods of time walking, standing, bending or crouching Mechanics will be required to lift loads from 20-70 pounds occasionally throughout their shift Must be able to lift load from waist to shoulder and occasionally above shoulder Occasional stair/ladder climbing
Qualified candidates will be required to successfully complete the following in order to be considered for hire: Maintenance Mechanic assessment test Hands on Electrical skills demonstration Panel interview
