Pay Rate/Salary: At least $26.00 / Hour
Responsible for the oversight of the Maintenance Department and coordinating and supervising the work of employees of the department in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and plant.

  • Assigns routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of the buildings does not deteriorate

  • Hire and train employees for the maintenance department.

  • Monitors employees' work levels and reviews work performance

  • Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as hire, promotions, or disciplinary measures

  • Investigate accidents and report findings

  • Develop, implement and evaluates maintenance policies and procedures.

  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts and supplies.

  • Able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems in the production plant and facility.

  • Examines objects, systems, and facilities and analyzes information to determine needed installations, services and repairs.

  • Short-term and long term planning

  • Other duties as assigned. Management reserves the right to assign duties not typically performed in this position if there is a business need.

  • Job Requirements �Able to work 40 hours per week on their feet in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
    �Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
    �Walk long distances repeatedly, bend, stoop, climb stairs or ladders
    �Work in an environment that is dusty and may contain spices with high heat.
    �Regular kneeling, reaching, handling, fingering
    �Talking/ hearing conversations
    �Vision requirements: near and far visual acuity/visual accommodation
    �Ability to work in cold and hot temperatures
