Pay Rate/Salary: At least $26.00 / Hour
Responsible for the oversight of the Maintenance Department and coordinating and supervising the work of employees of the department in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and plant.
Assigns routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of the buildings does not deteriorate
Hire and train employees for the maintenance department.
Monitors employees' work levels and reviews work performance
Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as hire, promotions, or disciplinary measures
Investigate accidents and report findings
Develop, implement and evaluates maintenance policies and procedures.
Maintain inventory of tools, parts and supplies.
Able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems in the production plant and facility.
Examines objects, systems, and facilities and analyzes information to determine needed installations, services and repairs.
Short-term and long term planning
Other duties as assigned. Management reserves the right to assign duties not typically performed in this position if there is a business need.
Job Requirements �Able to work 40 hours per week on their feet in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
�Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
�Walk long distances repeatedly, bend, stoop, climb stairs or ladders
�Work in an environment that is dusty and may contain spices with high heat.
�Regular kneeling, reaching, handling, fingering
�Talking/ hearing conversations
�Vision requirements: near and far visual acuity/visual accommodation
�Ability to work in cold and hot temperatures
