Plant is temperature controlled and very clean environment. All tools are provided by company and average work hours is 49, so overtime pay is consistent. The Maintenance Technician (Production technician) job responsibilities include: Troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot, repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. Troubleshoot, repair or replace oven components such as burners, valves, bearings. Troubleshoot, repair or replace hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical power components. Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments, as well as preventative / predictive maintenance tasks Monitor and record environmental conditions such as wastewater measurements. Work closely with production, refrigeration and warehouse personnel to effectively resolve and eliminate plant and process problems. Responsible for daily communication of all pertinent information to dept mgmt Work in conjunction with maintenance and refrigeration technicians to cross train on system maintenance to obtain adequate coverage across all shifts Assist mgmt in developing SOPs, and duty cycles for all repairs and maintenance, relating to process and packaging equipment. Shifts available: 4a-4p, 4p-4a Plant Boiler and Hot water systems maintenance Active participant of the Plant Safety Team Requirements for the Maintenance Technician (Production Technician) job include: Minimum education: High School diploma and experience, or Technical College/PLC Certification Course ELECTRICAL / Mechanical / pneumatic / hydraulic skills Equipment used: Electrical meters, maintenance tools, metal working equipment, computers Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, bending, and climbing around equipment inside and outside of the facility.
