Adecco Direct Hire is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technicians to work on a direct hire basis with a leading manufacturer here in Phoenix, AZ (PLUS a Strong Bonus!). This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity and you will not actually be a temporary employee of Adecco. This means that you would be eligible for full time hours with benefits, holiday pay, time off, ect. This full-time position requires previous hands-on experience with the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Repairs, maintains, and installs machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
Supervises contractors engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical/electro-mechanical equipment. Oversees major building projects and performs structural repairs as required, maintaining and repairing building utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems.
Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
Develops and performs preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure continuous operation.
Confers with management, operations, and quality personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
Performs related work as required.
Complies with all Arroweye and OSHA safety and security regulations including the Lock Out Tag Out policy.
Minimum (5) years' experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance as well as strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience. HVAC experience a plus.
Prior and practical hands on experience in printing technology and operations, packaging, fulfillment or plastic card industry a plus.
AA degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance or engineering a plus.
