Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) - Nashua, NH Direct Hire / Permanent Position $20 - $25/hr + OT Benefits Start Immediately Our client is a contract manufacturer of consumer goods. They have been working with many well known customers over the last 20 years and continue to see record growth across their many product lines. They have an immediate need for an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform routine repairs and maintenance of facilities and support equipment. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, install, and maintaining electrical/mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and repair production and building support equipment (including automated, pneumatic and hydraulic machinery) Perform various types of facility maintenance to include basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing Implement preventive maintenance and repair procedures to expedite timely repairs and reduce lost production time Maintain maintenance documentation for the equipment Use of welders, acetylene torches and brazing or soldering equipment Maintain corporate standards of performance and comply with safety policies and procedures REQUIREMENTS: The ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings Strong electrical and mechanical ability and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics Knowledge of the principals and theories of mechanical/electrical repair and maintenance techniques as well as those of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to think critically and work well with others in a team based environment Graduate of a technical school (preferred) 1 - 3 years of experience working with various types of building support equipment and production machinery PC skills to include at minimum Microsoft Word and Excel Must possess a valid driver's license COMPENSATION / BENEFITS: $20 - $25/hr (DOE) Medical benefits being FIRST DAY of employment Vacation Days Attendance Bonus 401(k) OT available Great work environment with long term career growth opportunities!
