Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting experienced candidates for a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician job in Fairfield, OH with one of our top clients. The Maintenance Technician will utilize their strategic and technical skills to ensure the machines and building are kept in a working order and to make any necessary repairs or preventative maintenance. We are seeking candidates with experience, strong leadership and a solid manufacturing background. This position is an 8-12 hour shift with a starting rate of $23 - $25/hr plus overtime and plenty of growth opportunity along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician in Fairfield, OH include:
Troubleshoot and repair system gearboxes, belt, bearings, bushings, etc.
Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Maintain the maintenance of electrical systems including but not limited to PLC logic, relay logic, ladder logic Keyance, Ormon and Mitsubishi PLC's
Mig and tig weld to build from CAD drawings/sketches
Build and modify from plans and blueprints
Research and develop parts/machines to help with plant efficiency
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure as little time as possible of machine downtime
Must have high school diploma or GED
Willingness to have a flexible schedule
Experience with the repair of progressive single hit dies- required
Ability to read blue prints
Exceptional attendance record
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and able to stand for entire shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to work in the heat during summer months and cold during winter months
