Maintenance Technician job is available in Peachtree City with our client, a leading global partner to the healthcare industry. Company produces specialty glass and plastic products and has worldwide operations with over 40 plants in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Maintenance Technician will act as the first line in trouble shooting and repair of plastic injection molding equipment. The Maintenance Technician job responsibilities include: Repair/replace brakes and clutches, gears, belts, sheaves/pulley, chains and sprockets, cams, seals and o-rings, bearings and bushings. Replace couplings and valves. Troubleshoot/repair/replace cylinders and pneumatic/hydraulic motors Troubleshoot/maintain centrifugal, vacuum, gear, diaphragm, positive displacement and metering pumps Perform basic math problems Apply knowledge of AC theory and run wire and conduit Operate electrical test equipment Modify ladder logic and edit PLC software Calibrate/install/repair basic flow and density, temperature, pressure transmitters, gauges and switches Troubleshoot/repair/replace/maintain robots Learns quickly when facing new problems Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions Requirements for the Maintenance Technician job include: High School diploma Min 2 years maintenance/technical experience within a plastic injection molding facility Min 1 year mechanical/electrical experience Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventive experience preferred Ability to read blue prints, manufacturer's specs and schematics Experienced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice within the Medical or Food Industry Required to supply hand tools Experience in problem solving and trouble shooting of processes and process equipment Mechanical / PLC / pneumatic / hydraulic / basic electrical skills Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, bending, stooping.
