Adecco Direct Hire is hiring Maintenance Technicians to work on a direct hire basis at $24-26/hour with a leading stone and granite manufacturer here in Slatersville, RI. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity and you will not actually be a temporary employee of Adecco. This means that you would be eligible for full time hours with benefits, time off, quarterly bonuses, ect. This full-time position requires previous hands-on experience with the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in a stone system manufacturing environment.
Repairs, maintains, and installs machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
Communicating and reporting the down time in the system.
Works with the Maintenance Tech Manager in the preventative plan for the shop
Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
Develops and performs preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure continuous operation.
Confers with management, operations, and quality personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists team members in solving work problems.
Participates in new equipment negotiation and selection.
Reviews technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry.
Assists with purchasing and receiving of parts and supplies as needed.
Aid in inventory control and cycle counts for spare parts and supplies.
Minimum five (5) years' experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance
Hydraulic, pneumatic, air compression, actuators, and sensor experience
Electric, circuit boards, motor troubleshooting, and replacement experience
CNC, metal fabrication, water system experience
Prior and practical hands on experience in stone system technology
SAP knowledge is a plus
AA degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance or engineering a plus.
