Perform all task required to repair or modify the Sterilizer truck fleet. This includes: Transporting trucks/ components to and from the repair shop using work saver or forklift.

Identify damage and correct repair method. Complete repair using correct hand tools, power tools, plasma cutter, or welder. Verify repair complies with SOP requirements, referencing the appropriate drawing when required. Inspect repair for burrs or sharp edges and correct as needed. Support truck related projects and insure correct documentation. Troubleshoot

and perform simple repair on area equipment. General cleaning of equipment and area.



General Requirements:

Verifiable welding experience/education is required. Must perform TIG welding on stainless and aluminum components. Must comply with all safety and GMP requirements. Applicants selected for interviews must complete a welding test which measures welding knowledge. Perform all task required to repair or modify the Sterilizer truck fleet.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

80% Prep/Repair and perform grinding remove damaged components, straightens and replaces damaged components. Complete the repair by welding the repair and then grinding or sanding weld. Inspect unit for sharp edges and correct as needed. Insure repair is correct per drawing.

20% Inspect trucks to identify damaged units. Transport trucks to the shop using a work saver. Return to correct location when repairs are complete.

Welder, plasma cuter, grinder, hand tools, power drills, presses, clamps. Must weld stainless steel and aluminum. Perform setup and prep repairs. Perform basic measurements and math. PIT daily checks, truck modification form. High School or equivalent, 4 yrs Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance experience or 4 yrs Military Maintenance and Repair experience. Welding skills. Gloves, safety glasses and welding helmets, ear protection.
